Kendra Fortmeyer is an author and editor. Professionally, she is a marketing manager.
Fortmeyer's fiction has appeared in The Toast, Lightspeed, and Apex, and has been collected in "Year's Best" anthologies. Her first book, the YA novel "Hole in the Middle," was published in 2017. She received a 2017 Pushcart Prize for her story, “Things I Know to Be True.”
Fortmeyer received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Texas Austin, and is a graduate of the 2016 Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers workshop.
