Billy Richard Parks is an author of fantasy, science fiction and horror fiction. He writes under the names "Richard Parks" and "W.J. Everett," and published a few early works under the names "B. Richard Parks" and "Rick Parks." Before becoming a full-time writer, Parks was a chemist, specializing in paint and polymer films. Parks's first book, the collection, "The Ogre's Wife: Fairy Tales For Grownups," was published in 2002. He has published over a dozen novels, over a dozen collections, and over 100 short stories.
