About This List

Podcasts in the Bad Producer Productions Network.
  1. Love writing? Looking to improve your writing? Or do you just love listening to writers talk about their craft? If yes, The Garret: Writers on Writing is for you. The Garret is a podcast writers for writers about the craft of writing. It is hosted Astrid Edwards, and her goal is to interview the best writers in Australia (and perhaps some from abroad) about how and why they do what they do. The Garret has ongoing partnerships with the State Library of Victoria, Writers Victoria and RMIT University. A defining feature of The Garret is our transcripts. Each interview is published with a complete transcript (so you don’t have to write anything down while you listen). The Garret was shortlisted for Best Literature, Arts and Music Podcast in both the 2017 and 2019 Australian Podcast Awards.  The Garret is a labour of love on behalf of all emerging writers. The Garret is supported by grants and the time of Astrid Edwards. It does not operate for revenue or profit. If you would like to support The Garret, simply subscribe wherever else you listen to your podcasts and join the conversation on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. You can also follow our host Astrid Edwards (including her published book reviews) at astridedwards.com.
  2. Love radio? Want to make it in the radio industry? Game Changers: Radio gives you access to intimate conversations with those who have known success and failure in their radio careers. We’ve spoken to the best of the best in Australia: Hamish Blake, Andy Lee, Eddie McGuire, Fifi Box, Tony Martin, Mick Molloy, Amanda Keller and Kyle Sandilands, to name a few. We’ve also spoken to the best in the United Kingdom, including Christian O’Connell and Ken Bruce, and even a few stars from the United States, like Broadway Bill Lee. Follow our Host Craig Bruce (@cb_bruce) and Executive Producer Jay Mueller (@bad_producer), and check out www.radiogamechangers.com for more.
  3. Team Effort is here to help you lead a better life...your best life (results may vary). In each episode a collection of wonderful people deliver all the information you need to lead a better life. It's self help without any of the annoying facts and figures that can get in the way of half baked ideas and opinions.
  4. Winner of Best Comedy at the 2018 Australian Podcast Awards, CHILDPROOF is an unproduced TV sitcom written by Tony Martin and Sarina Rowell. The six episodes were performed live at the 2017 Melbourne Fringe by Tony Martin, Geraldine Quinn, Roz Hammond, Andrew McClelland, Damian Cowell, Cristina Laria, Djovan Caro and Lachy Hulme, with a gaggle of guests and narration by Jay Mueller. It concerns those controversial types, the ‘childfree by choice’. They've been called ‘selfish’, ‘immature’, ‘unfulfilled’ and even ‘unAustralian’ – by their own families! Out of step with a world that exalts the traditional family unit above all else, Ian and Jennifer are also battling extinction in their workplaces – commercial radio and book publishing. Contains foul language. Not suitable for children.
  5. Cricket for everyone - your friendly guide to the world's weirdest sport. Geoff Lemon and Adam Collins combine deep analysis with irreverence and political nous as they follow the game they love around the globe, and run in-depth interviews with a range of guests. You can support the show on Patreon, at patreon.com/thefinalword.
  6. A new series from the team at The Greatest Season That Was Presents... US Revolution. US Revolution features Mason, Shannon Gill and American broadcaster Ed Wyatt in an exploration of Australian Rules Football's US connections. The eight-part series will feature interviews with Paul Roos, Jason Holmes and former ESPN broadcaster Bob Ley.  Follow The Greatest Season That Was on Twitter - @TGSTW_Presents. The Greatest Season That Was is produced Jay Mueller and is part of the Bad Producer Podcast Network.
  7. In the Pocket is a show about NFL, hosted by two Americans who find themselves living in Melbourne Australia. Each week, listen to Steve Salisbury and Jay Mueller talk about what they love best. Our show is passionate. It’s informative. It’s a celebration. In fact, it’s the podcast equivalent of a tailgate party: fans standing around laughing about the characters and story lines of each week’s gladiatorial soap opera. The only thing missing is the smell of grilled meat (you can provide the meat, we’ll provide the laughs). NFL is a little different on this side of the world. We watch fall games on spring mornings, Thanksgiving games on Friday morning and the playoffs at the height of summer. But our love for the game remains the same. We like to think our show is made in Melbourne, but designed for the world. Facebook: InthePocketShow Twitter: @InthePocketAUS #InThePocket
  8. Andy and Luke are here to introduce you to The Bad Read. Reading early drafts of amazing screenplays, badly.  Andy, Luke and their friends read the early drafts of classic screenplays so you don't have to. This podcast is a sort of origin story of the greatest stories ever filmed.  Season One of The Bad Read features The Star Wars. That's right The Star Wars. A script in a style that is in a style far, far away from what it became.  The Bad Read is created by Andy Lane and Luke Mounsey. Edited by Nick Vorrath. Produced by Bad Producer Productions.  Follow The Bad Read on Twitter - @badreadpodcast
