These are really good stories, and the production is amazing.

S3: with one foot solidly in the cartoon series “Over the Garden Wall” and the other foot in the Video Game “Limbo” - this third season should be a slam dunk of both horror and adventure, but there’s not enough story to sustain the second half of the narrative and “Devil’s Night” slows to a predictable crawl. If you love the first few episodes but feel your interest waning, jump to the last two episodes, you won’t miss anything and the ending is worth the abbreviated ride.

I really like the concept of standalone seasons (like American Horror Story), and the plot of each season looks intriguing on paper. The writing is distinctive and sharp and the voice acting is crisp and characters are strongly conveyed. However, I just feel that episodes drag on. There is usually just one voice to listen to for the most part, so it's akin to being told a story rather than experiencing it. If narrated audio fiction is your thing then this is probably a top drawer show but for me, I eventually had to drop it.
