After a horrific attack on her father's private aircraft; Amanda enlists the help of insurance claims investigator, Allen Adams, to unwittingly help her expose F.P Monroe's illegal connections. But what Amanda doesn't know is that actions have also caught the eye of The Protector, and The Avenger.

A WORD FROM CHRIS

So with this radio play, I wanted to keep that classic serial vibe, which is why it's broken down into three parts, rather than one long play. That, and I don't feel people really want to sit and listen to a radio play for 30 minutes straight. I mean, some of you probably do, but overall, most people don't have patience.

In part one, we got to see inside the mind of Amanda and the lengths she was willing to go to "save" her father. In part two, we get to see the toll it begins to take. How this once innocent, carefree woman has now become bitter and jaded. Amanda is a scary person when you stop and think about it. She's more or less a sociopath. She doesn't care who she hurts, so long as she has already judged them, and she will turn her back on anyone who tries to stop her.

Another angle I wanted to continue to explore in this series, was the developing working relationship between Allen and Robert, both as heroes and civilians. These two have come to truly respect each other and are growing closer as friends and vigilantes. They openly communicate and share their resources with one another, unlike some of the more famous heroes out there, because ya, that's how heroes are supposed to act.

While this episode is shorter than the others, it still carries a lot of emotional weight, specifically for Amanda's strained relationship with her father and with Arthur. Here, we get to see the toll her actions have taken.
