From a young age, Bret­t’s heart­beat to the rhythm of film­mak­ing and con­tent cre­ation. Bret­t’s Win­nipeg roots run deep, where he spent his youth immersed in sports, espe­cial­ly bas­ket­ball, and explor­ing the beau­ty of Clear Lake dur­ing sum­mers. His cre­ative spir­it first found expres­sion through doc­u­ment­ing his trav­els. What start­ed as per­son­al video diaries soon blos­somed into a thriv­ing busi­ness, as com­pa­nies rec­og­nized the tal­ent in his lens.

After grad­u­at­ing from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Man­i­to­ba, Asper School of Busi­ness, with a major in account­ing, Brett set foot into the world of finance at KPMG. He embarked on the jour­ney to become a CPA, a path he suc­cess­ful­ly tra­versed. But, as his videog­ra­phy busi­ness flour­ished, the call for cre­ativ­i­ty grew stronger. Jug­gling the rig­or­ous demands of the cor­po­rate world and his entre­pre­neur­ial ambi­tions became a chal­lenge. In a bold and life-alter­ing deci­sion, Brett chose to fol­low his heart and pas­sion. He left his account­ing career behind to ful­ly embrace the world of free­lance videog­ra­phy and film­mak­ing. It’s a title he wears with pride, for he is a cre­ator, a sto­ry­teller, and a visu­al magician.
