Many believe that the rabbit was brought in in 1929 by the Japanese government for testing of weapons being developed at the time. The existence of this island is kept secret. In fact, the Japanese government removed the island from official maps to keep the project a secret. Unfortunately, the gas produced by this laboratory was just the opposite as many as 80,000 people in the 1930s.
