I liked the history of the Idaho potato plate, but I had heard the rest of the story on this episode of Middle of Everywhere: https://www.podchaser.com/podcasts/middle-of-everywhere-1549886/episodes/im-god-78972434. I liked the MOE episode a little more, because they went a little further into the speech issue and included a few more cases. Both are excellent podcasts, though.

This was the first episode of 99% that I have finished, and it was enough to keep me coming back for more. I'm excited to dive into other niche topics.
