Join me for the 6th annual one-man (abridged) reading of A Christmas Carol (complete with underscored music and sound effects). And, for the first time ever, as a live podcast!
Normally I do this in person and make cider and all that stuff. This year is different, and as such, more people get to join in on the fun!
When? Friday, December 18th @ 8pm Eastern Time.
Where? You may need to get a free Spreaker account to listen, so please give yourself time to do so! Follow this link for the podcast.
Why am I doing this?
A Christmas Carol was written to be re-told out loud. Back in the day, apparently Christmas ghost stories were a big thing. Look it up! ('We'll tell scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago.')
Over the years, I've really grown to adore this tale and love sharing it. It is a great story, with incendiary writing.
In short, I want to do it, so I am. As a podcast, it'll be even better. I always envisioned this more as a radio play anyway, so this is a perfect year to try it out.
So grab the fam and make the popcorn, we'll have a good ole time from afar.
Hope to see you there!
