Dominic Jones BIO & Links :-

Dominic Jones is from Cornwall in the United Kingdom. He studied Applied Geology with Law at the University of Plymouth and the University of Wyoming. After graduation, he worked for an environmental consultancy based in Devon and became a Chartered Geologist. In 1999, he moved to Japan where he continues to live in the beautiful city of Sendai in Miyagi with his wife and two children.

He has a Master of Education in Applied Linguistics and is a Professor at Sendai Seiyo Gakuin College in the Department of Contemporary English. He teaches English and researches comprehensible input in English education, Neuro-linguistic programming modeling, and martial science in self-defense.

He is passionate about martial science. He started learning American Kenpo Karate in 1989 and became a 4th Degree Black Belt. He continues to train in the functional self-defense martial science of American Chúan Fa and is a 2nd Degree Black Belt under Dr. Ron Chapél of the Martial Science University in Los Angeles.

He is a TEDx speaker who has presented at education conferences and martial science workshops in England, Ireland, America, and Japan. As an entrepreneur in Japan he founded a LLC in the entertainment and education industry.
