Chris: Hello listeners. Chris Magilton, creator of Among the Stars and Bones here. If it feels like an age since you last time you heard from us on this feed it's because...well...it has been. I'm sure you can appreciate that there are many reasons why our hiatus has been going on nearly four years, the pandemic being one, but there's been myriad others too. Be that as it may, I'm here to tell you we're coming back.

That's right folks, all throughout 2023 the cast and I have been working on recording and readying a brand new season for you. A new adventure, a new planet, with old characters and new to share it with you.

This is how it's going to go: Starting in the first two weeks of January, we're going to kick things off by releasing a prequel of sorts, something that's previously only been available to patrons of the show. This is a fun little two-parter that follows the characters as they celebrated New Years Eve a week before their arrival on Tefen for Season 1. Just what do our characters get up to when they're light years from home with nowhere to go? You'll have to listen to find out.

Then later in January we'll drop the Season 2 trailer so you can get a little tease of what's to come.

Starting in February, somewhere around the middle, will be the prologue to our brand new season, with episodes releasing fortnightly after that. This season's a big one folks, with 11-regular episodes plus a prologue and epilogue that puts the Herodotus team through a whole new mystery and a whole new terror. Run time wise this season will be easily half again as long as Season 1.

All in all, between the New Years Prequel and Season 2, that's 15 Among the Stars and Bones episodes that we'll be releasing to you in 2024.
