From the imperialist white supremacist heteropatriarchy to Wicked: The Musical, our world is much too hard to explain.
So AriDy attempts to describe it instead.
A markedly nonlinear deep dive into the complexity of our society, each season aims to explore an overarching theme via storytelling, rants, love letters, and memory. AriDy (and the occasional guest) describe some of their most pivotal learnings, experiences, cultural products, and so on, in the hopes that it will all add up to the most illusory of goals: understanding. A podcast less interested in being right than in being thorough, AriDy Describes Stuff looks at the stuff of our world, and attempts to get at what makes it important. Sometimes funny and always earnest, it is the transformation of the theoretical into the remembered, in the hopes that we can make our theories felt.
