Our guest today Jennifer Arthurton is the creator, and founder of Old Chicks Know Sh*t, a community and podcast (of the same name) designed to inspire and support midlife women in chasing their dreams and creating their kick-ass next chapter. In addition, she is an empowerment coach, writer, and speaker. Having made her midlife course corrections, she is a passionate advocate of the inherent power and knowledge that women possess at a time when they often feel overlooked and doubt themselves most.

In this episode we have some fire chat:

-Her journey into self-discovery and helping mid-life women to see the power in the next chapter of their lives.-“At the beginning, I thought I am too old to start over”!-This is actually the longest chapter of our lives, between 50's and 80’s.-I didn't know the answer to like…what are my values, what is important to me, what do i want my life to be?-“I didn’t know what was possible for my life”.-Your whole life doesn’t need to fall down around you before you take the necessary step to change part.-Daydream a little bit.-Most of what stops us is all the fears and limiting beliefs.-If you are going to do something new, your brain gives you 50 reasons why you can’t do that thing.-When we create a visualization in our mind our subconscious doesn’t actually know the difference between the real and imagined.-“Tiny steps lead to big things”.-You can start exactly where you are and take tiny steps every day towards the thing that you want.-Be patient and have a little compassion for yourself during the process of change.-When we get into that black and white all or nothing thinking, it paralyzes us.-Giving yourself these baby steps leads to momentum.-Be true to yourself.-Authenticity is key to success.

All this and much more from Jennifer, do listen to the full episode and get inspired.
