This incredible podcast is hosted by a coffee, and movie loving UK native with a charming Attitude and a voice made for you to hear. Raye discusses her favorite movies, shows and life itself in a way that makes you feel like you’re there sipping a cup of coffee right next to her. I could not recommend this show any more highly
I really enjoy this podcast! It is something I can put on while pottering around the house and it feels like a friend is there with you having a coffee and a chat. Raye is a great story teller and really keeps you engaged. It has a great personal touch as she discusses topics close to home, but also keeps it light with discussions on tv shows, books and movies. Plus who doesn't wanna hear about a weird dream!
This podcast relaxes the heck out of me - it’s hard to explain - it’s perfect listening with a nice hot drink (I no longer drink coffee however!) If you listen you will not only have a fantastic time but you will know exactly what I mean!
Being BookishHey, not everyone drinks coffee. I come from a country of tea drinkers and sometimes that's all I want despite the coffee addiction. I am glad you like the show, I wanted to do something a little dif…
Love this podcast! Raye always delivers a great episode of conversation & insight that keeps you engaged from start to finish! It's a must listen so quit delaying. Hit play now! - #ODPH
Raye has a great relaxing voice and has great insights into her favourite films which are enjoyable to listen to. More importantly Raye sheds light on the topic of Mental Health which is really helpful to all listeners out there. This is a well balanced show and well worth a listen.
Being BookishMental health is one of those subjects that is still such a sensitive one. It's getting more common to discuss, but generationally there is still an issue with opening up.Thank you.
Always enjoy hearing her talk candidly about mental health and her variety of movies and books she likes to share.
Being BookishThank you. I try and be myself, yes, a bit scattered but that's what makes every creator different, their delivery. Really happy that you enjoy the show.
A great solo podcast where the host talks about things going on in her life. And it’s all relatable stuff. Very enjoyable listen!Griff
I always play the new episode the day it's released. Love Raye's movie and book reviews. It's usually a light-hearted and honest podcast. Perfect for first thing in the morning listen. Plus she loves coffee! Cindy
Books, Movies, TV and a coffee - the perfect recipe. Throw in the mix a great host and you've got Not Before Coffee! I listen to a lot of podcasts and I can honestly say Raye is an absolute natural. She sounds so confident behind the mic and its a pleasure to hear her talk about her passions as well as her experiences with Mental Health. I'm a regular listener just finishing her latest run of Chris Evans episodes and just hitting play on Easy A... best dash.
Being BookishThank you so much. It's always great to find out what people think. I hope that you enjoyed the Easy A ep, it was fun.
Great podcast, great mix of subjects and flows really well. Love this show!!
Being BookishThank you. I try and make it as varied as the odd thoughts in my head at any given time!
a good listen, with enough of a wide berth of topics that regardless of what you are into you can find something to listen to here.
Love this podcast!!!!!!
Raye really knows her stuff. Her break downs of films are very insightful and always makes you think deeply into the films we watch.
Not Before Coffee is a fantastic listen! From The Reading Room, where she talks about books she reading and that she loves (the episode on Good Omens is a personal favorite), to reviews of movies and television that strikes her fancy (earlier episodes focused on Disney Channel original movies and DVDs on her shelf, if memory serves), Raye weaves it all together something special with talks about dreams and depression, but not before she's had her coffee.
Not Before Coffee! is a topical show that is delightful. What makes it really excel is the genuine presentation, how easy it is to listen to, and Raye being an engaging and thoughtful host. The topics themselves, often with a look at pop culture, are often interesting to the point where this is an excellent alternative to talk radio. It's perfect to have on for long drives or work, but it's an any occasion podcast. Give this a listen and subscribe now!
Raye is such an engaging host, and her show covers a range of interesting subjects in a fair and unbiased manner. I especially loved her dive into her top 5 TV Teen shows. This show is the cure to 2020 blues!
I recently binged this podcast and find Raye's commentary on life (particularly her struggles with depression) extremely refreshing. I enjoy listening to her reactions to forgotten Disney channel movies & more. Makes me wish I didn't live across the pond as she seems like someone who would be awesome to grab a cup of coffee (or three) with some time. Cheers!
Being BookishPerhaps I should do a few more DCOM reviews. Maybe some of the newer ones...
Ray does an amazing job building a engaging narrative Looking forward to more.
I love this show! Voice is so calming. She probably gets three listens out of me alone from the times I play it back to fall asleep and then a final time to listen all the way through. I am not a huge movie fan but love stories. Hearing the recap is one of my favorite things. I look forward to the new episodes!
Being BookishI also love stories, which is what I wanted to share. A film that is through my eyes. Sometimes I wonder if I go into too much detail!
Pour yourself a cup of the good stuff, sit back and enjoy as Raye takes you on a journey through her week. From good times to bad movies. It’s a treat to hear Rayes soothing tones in your ears as we deal with life’s madness so do yourselves a favour and download this podcast now!
