Pamela Paul is a writer and editor. She was the editor of The New York Times Book Review, where she oversaw all book coverage for The New York Times. She was also the host of the weekly Book Review podcast.Previously, Paul was a columnist for The New York Times, where she wrote the "Studied" column. She also wrote about financial issues and family for Worth Magazine. She has also been a contributor to Time magazine, and a regular writer for The Atlantic. Earlier in her career, she worked as senior editor at American Demographics magazine. She is also a former London- and New York-based correspondent to The Economist, where she wrote a monthly arts column.Paul has written or co-written six books.
