Second episode of our THREE PART conversation on our relationship with food as athletes. This podcast focuses on the transition period out of training, competing, and identifying solely as an athlete, so we thought it was time to really dig into our own transition period when it comes to eating habits, eating disorders, and the mind body connection for a healthy relationship with food after sports. On this episode Don talks about his evolution with fueling his body during his swim career at the University of Texas, finding affordable options as a post-collegiate athlete and graduate student, and the important insights he learned after his weight fluctuated throughout the initial transition out of competing.
