Are you doing everything you can to book that wedding or are you simply sending a price sheet with an automated message, praying they’ll respond and say they’re ready to hire you and then just moving on when they ghost you? My formula for an impactful Client Experience:

  1. First Impression:
  • Always have an automated response! This allows the client to feel seen and appreciated right away!
  • Key points to include:
  • thank them and congratulate them
  • let them know you’re highly in demand
  • You take pride in fully serving them
  • Timeframe for when they can expect to hear back from you
  • What’s next? ALWAYS give them clarity and make it feel EASY
  • Then Respond in the timeframe you gave them!
  • Have email templates ready to go! Either you’re available for their date or not. If not, do you have referrals for them? (HONEYBOOK)

2. Schedule a Call:

Here’s where I like to invite them to book a consultation phone call WHY?
To deliver the BEST service!! Allow them to feel, seen, heard, ask questions, give them clarity, educate them, give them a taste of what it would be like to work with you! Paint that picture for them! You know why they should hire you, but they don’t, at this point, know much about you at all! And here’s where you can over deliver! If you’ve been in the industry for some time, there’s things you know that they don’t! Maybe you can give them a lil clarity on how the morning will flow or tips to keep things running smoothly. Maybe you’ve done plenty of weddings at their venue and you KNOW that there’s no speaker there for getting ready music so you can tell them to make sure to bring a small speaker if they want music. Maybe it’s a destination location they’ve never been to and you can share your favorite hotels to stay at.

3. Sending them your rates:

  • This should feel like an experience as well
  • Remember every contact they have with you is an experience with your BRAND
  • Whatever you use to send your rates should be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and on brand. We’re in the BRIDAL BEAUTY industry, everything that has to do with weddings is pretty!
  • Don’t over complicate it!!
  • Keep visuals clear and clean
  • Keep fonts easy to read
  • Give information clearly make sure there’s NO confusion, have a friend proof read who’s not in the industry
  • Include a few reviews with a link to read more

4. Follow up!!

  • Create a follow up sequence either automated or to pop up as a reminder
