Good morning theater fans! I'm Caryn Robbins with The Broadway Scoop for Wednesday, February 12th. 

Singer, songwriter, and Girl Meets World star Sabrina Carpenter will make her Broadway debut as Cady Heron in the hit musical MEAN GIRLS, beginning March 10th. The actress will succeed the role's originator, Erika Henningsen who will take her final bow at the August Wilson Theatre on February 22.  Carpenter will play a strictly limited run through June 7.

In other casting news, Rodney Ingram will take over the title role in the Broadway production of Disney's ALADDIN beginning February 17. The actor will replace current star Clinton Greenspan for a limited run until Ainsley Melham returns to the New Amsterdam Theatre to once again take center stage. Long-running Jasmine, Arielle Jacobs is also set to depart the musical on March 22 and will be succeeded by Marina Pires who will make her Broadway debut in the role through May 31. 

And six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will take on the role of Blanche DuBois in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE as part of this summer's Williamstown Theatre Festival. Directed by Robert O'Hara and co-starring Bobby Cannavale and Carla Gugino, the production will play the main stage theater from June 30 through July 19.
