Cost of The Kingdom Pt. 2 - Luke 9

Pay Attention To The Road - Luke 9:57-58

We like to receive the thing that we feel like we “deserve” because that is what is “fair”. The kingdom asks you to sacrifice what the world says you “deserve” so you can receive from God what you don’t deserve - Luke 9:21-27

Which Way? - Luke 9:59-60

The life we live is filled with decisions. One decision we make daily is if you will make this world your primary objective, or will you see the kingdom above all else - Luke 9:49-56

Don’t Lose Focus - Luke 9:61-62

It is easy to see the blessing of God and make the kingdom of God more about receiving blessing instead of seeing why we are blessed. Loosing focus on God, only gives us the world to look at - Luke 9:10-17 & John 6:1-15

The kingdom is not about having more… or being greater. It is only about bringing other people to the truth of Jesus. God moves in people’s lives when His people reflect Him….. not the world. That may cost you what the world says you deserve - Luke 9:46-48
