It feels like the narrator blames Josh Powell's behavior on the fact that he left the Mormon church and that Powell's father left the church as well. There is no discussion of the negative aspects of the Mormon church that affected Susan Powell and her ability to leave her abuser. I hate true-crime that are more about the criminals than the victims.

I've only listened to season 1. I really enjoyed it, but it needed some editing. I think it could have been a few episodes shorter. Some episodes spent too much time repeating previous information, which was great for people joining mid series, but dull for people listening from the beginning.

Arguably the best deep dive true crime podcast out there. This podcast takes a case that has been covered at the surface level by countless other podcasts, tv shows, and shot documentaries, and it expands on it in a way that never feels redundant, tedious, or gratuitous. Outstanding organization, superb production quality, and not one moment is spent making distasteful jokes about a horrific crime. I can't recommend this one enough.
