Today’s book suggestion is part of my personal book collection and its called Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao.

This is a YA fantasy novel published in 2017 and it’s the first book in A Rise of the Empress series.

This book is an East Asian fantasy reimagining of The Evil Queen legend. I found this book while searching for fairy tale retellings and decided to purchase it right away. I’m really looking forwards to reading it.
