Today’s book suggestion is actually another recommendation and it’s part of my personal book collection.

Its called Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds.

This is a YA novel published in 2017 and it’s the first book I’ve ever read in verse (which is honestly pretty sad).

This book tells the story of a 15-year-old boy that sees his brother be shot to death and his decision to seek out his brother’s murderer. It draws on themes about the cycles of violence that occurs in many urban communities. It was a truly powerful story, so much so that I read it twice!

So, short and sweet, that's my suggestion for today.
