From The Podcast

Community focus: marginalised society/disability constituency talk COVID-19.

My show is about voiceless marginalised community who have life with limited access to services such as information during this time of battling COVID-19 pandemic, this aims to ensure that marginalised and vulnerable groups are not left behind, and thier needs are provided as reflected in my podcasts. This pandemic has affected everyone differently, In this show you will hear Ronald Chigwada interviewing people who represents marginalised and vulnerable people from various organisations and individuals. This is mainly focused on COVID-19 affected people with no access to information, protective clothing, awareness compaigns and not being empowered to fight the pandemic. The show is also going to highlight and unpack the beast behind some of the issues that have been worsened with the arrival of the pandemic. Massive corruption is at its peak and missuse of resources at the expense of these people living in underrepresented areas, these communities are now worse off than they were before the pamdemic.Lockdown restrictions has also led to compromise of their right to work and they have been ravaged by hunger, crimes and diseases as the are poor health services or none at all in their areas. These vulnerable and marginalised people are persons with disability, children, woman, elderly and vendors. Having said all this, "Community focus podcast" is the voice of the voiceless which is a weapon to push the relevant authorities and the community atlarge to realise the effects of COVID-19 in marginalized communities.
