In this episode, Tim as usual propagates a wildly unpopular idea based on current trends in eating out. Our streets have never been so crammed full of food-related bounty as they are today, with “even” cities outside of London such as Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester now playing host to a cornucopia of beautiful, exciting and delicious food establishments. Burgers, pizzas, fried chicken and the rest are now available "on tap" in our town centres.
Question is, why? And why in the last few years has this happened? Where were all the Shake Shacks in 2001? Where was the 1993 version of Pizza Pilgrims? And yet why is it that in certain places you still can't get a decent bite to eat after 9pm?
There’s a dark, yet grimly un-debatable fact lurking in the background here and it’s something even the hosts themselves were unwilling to accept … until now.
