Creatures is a psychological horror film that explores the underside of teen life. Trapped in Melmoth, NJ, where a cult vandalizes the town, buildings burn down, and little girls’ pets are killed, Arnold, a budding pyromaniac, meets Raven, a drug-dealing sadist who is the key figure for a bunch of teenage outcasts. Using his own bastardized versions of black magic and Santeria, Raven seduces Arnold and other teens into committing greater and greater crimes, until the violence goes too far.
