The mission of Deerfoot is to build Godly men in a Christ-centered community through wilderness camping. In this Deerfoot Conversation, Chief Craig Boronow, Dr. Scott Barnett and Chris Rivers discuss the 2nd part to Deerfoot’s mission and focus on what Christ-centered community looks like in a Deerfoot context. 

Scott works as a Professor of Outdoor Education at Simpson University and Chief Craig is the Director of Deerfoot Lodge Adirondacks. Chris works for Grace Church in Greenville SC. In this interview they address three ideas: 

1. What are the distinctIves of Christ-centered community at Deerfoot? 

2. How can a Deerfoot camper sustain his faith after leaving Deerfoot? 

3. How do men actually build Christ-centered community?
