The party returns to Soldier's Landing and have a night at The Lantern, their go-to tavern, to unwind before the festival.  At The Lantern they run into a familiar face along with a new acquaintance.  The following day, the party has some fun at the festival.  They get into a drinking, a pig wrangling, and an axe throwing contest.  Listen to see what happens next as we make our way towards the end of the first chapter of this adventure!

Dungeons and Dumber is a narrative driven storytelling podcast using the game Pathfinder as a vehicle to help us write it.  It also helps us have fun at every step along the way.  No matter if you're an experienced player of tabletop rpgs or have little to no exposure to them at all, there's no barrier to entry to being able to follow along.

If you're confused about us talking about rolling, there's just one simple rule of the game to know:  Whenever a character attempts something that has a chance of failure, they roll a 20-sided die, or D20 for short.  The number they get determines the outcome of their attempt.  a 1 being the worst they could do, and a 20 being the best they could do.  In some cases, a 20 is also a critical, meaning it's extra-good.  The characters also have build in bonuses to certain things they attempt to help them be more consistent with the characters they've built.  The dice add an element of uncertainty to the game that keeps everyone on their toes, and even if the characters fail, it still moves the story forward and keeps it interesting!
