Violence in video games? The music of Superhero films? Disney's impact on musical theatre? The art of comic books? The purpose of college? The first steps of building a career in the arts? Two young(ish) college professors engage in a variety of topics using their perspectives as educators and professionals in the entertainment industry. Justin Johnson teaches SIMULATION and GAME DESIGN and has over ten years of professional game development experience at AAA and Indie Studios; he is a freelance game developer and a recurring speaker at gaming conferences. He holds a B.S. in Art Design, a M.S. in Game Development, and various certifications in computer programing. Matt Hodge teaches MUSIC and THEATRE and has over ten years experience as a professional musician, theatre music director, and composer for media (film/tv/commercials/games); he has earned multiple awards/honors, has highly ranked in several international competitions, and has had research presented at numerous international academic conferences. He holds a B.A. in Music Theory & Composition, a M.A. in Music, and a M.F.A. in Composition.
