Today my special guest is Jim Palmer.

Jim Palmer is best known internationally as the Dream Business Coach. He is the founder of the Dream Business Academy and Dream Business Coaching and Mastermind Program. He is also the host of Dream Business Coach TV, the hit weekly Web TV show watched by thousands of entrepreneurs and small business owners, and Dream Business Radio, a weekly podcast based on Jim’s unique brand of smart marketing and business building strategies.

We will be talking about how to create the kind of lifestyle business and know how to charge what you’re worth. This is a great episode and I hope that you find great value in it!

3 Key Points

  • We’re always nervous doing new things but we have to go out there and do it. The top 1% in any population or industry, those who are buying large are the people who are willing to take a risk and willing to do what needs to be done that others won’t do.
  • Big leaps come in when you are surrounded by people – a coach, a mentor, or a group who can point out cases that are not obvious. People who can help you get past what you consider your barriers.

If you’re intentional you will be open to seeing and listening to people who are out there and are making it big and make an investment in these people. With them, you can increase the speed at which you can get results in your life and your business, you don’t have to figure out everything else yourself. I actually put my ego on the drawer. I started focusing on the results I wanted to achieve and cared much less in being seen as the guy who made it happen.

  • When it comes to fees, always base it on the value that people are going to receive. There are people who are more focused on the results than the cost. Let them understand that they are going to make an investment in what you offer, it’s actually a bargain for them. It’s important not to talk or just move away from talking an hourly rate because people sometimes think that it’s just ridiculous.
