DEBUT is the annual Fashion Show and Gala Event attended by industry leaders and supporters of the FIDM Scholarship Foundation. The Show features designs by graduating students in FIDM's Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design Advanced Study Programs as well as work from the Interior Design and Textile Design Students. Theatre Costume Design students conclude their third year with the design and construction of a costume based on a different theme each year.Highlights from this year’s DEBUT Runway Show & Gala included: Theatre Costume Designs inspired by The Wizard of Oz, Cabaret, and other film classics/In partnership with Cotton Board/Cotton Incorporated, students in Interior Design, Textile Design, and Fashion Design collaborated to produce chairs and garments for Chairing Styles/ The GUESS ™ Design Challenge with Special Guest, GUESS Co-Founder Maurice Marciano/ Fashion Collections by Advanced Fashion Design Students
