Coach Terrain is the owner of CrossFit Thalwil. He opened his new – much bigger location – right as the pandemic and lockdown hit – a very bad timing one could think. But not so for Terrain. He managed to grow his gym while every other gym was struggling to survive. During the last year, Terrain proved that he is not only a master of navigating in the gym industry, but also that he has the mental toughness, resilience and creativity to prosper in the most difficult times.

In this interview, Terrain tells his story. How he started his own Personal Training business with very little money borrowed from his wife and went all the way to the one of the fastest growing gyms in Zurich. He shares his principles and believes that make him successful, not only with his business, but also in his personal life.

For me, working with Terrain is extremely inspiring. He is positive in any situation, seems to always have answers and solutions for struggles and a way to move forward. Picking his brain was very informative and I learned a lot during this interview. I’m sure you will enjoy it as well.
