Perry shares his insights on the importance of preparing public health professionals to leverage technology and improve their interpersonal skills. They discuss how public health professionals were heavily burdened during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how future pandemics may present even tougher challenges.

 Perry emphasizes the need for reform in public health education, highlighting the importance of a higher focus on the individual person, incorporating more activism, improving communication skills, and rethinking higher education curriculum to better align with the needs of the workforce.
