Francis James Ralls is a music producer and composer based in Southern California. His music can be heard on TV, film, theme parks, and radio. As an ongoing contributing composer to the Emmy Award winning Bleeding Fingers Music he recently scored the Hong Kong episode of Apple's new docuseries "HOME" (originally scheduled to premier at South by Southwest in 2020, now streaming on Apple TV+), "Jane Goodall: The Hope," (Disney+), "ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay" (Netflix) and has contributed to shows that include Fox's "Lego Masters" and "Master Chef." His original work with Extreme Music has been placed on television shows ranging from VH1's Black Ink Crew to TLC's 90 Day Fiance. In 2019 he produced the music for Disneyland Shanghai’s new “Color Fest Street Parade” and composed new music for Disney's "Star Wars Galaxy's Edge." Francis has also produced music for Viking Cruises and Busch Gardens. His score for the award-winning independent short film “The Ride” (2018) was nominated for Best Musical Score (San Diego Film Awards) and was recently featured on Sirius XM’s Symphony Hall. His contemporary instrumental work (spanning 3 albums with New Age composer Bill Wren) won an International Songwriting Competition award (2017) and has received numerous nominations including three Hollywood Music In Media Award nominations (2011, 2017, and 2018), an Independent Music Awards nomination (Best New Age Album 2017), and a finalist spot in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (2016). This music plays steadily on Sirius XM’s Spa channel. His latest film score with composer Laurentia Editha and Bleeding Fingers, "NOVA: Nature's Fear Factor" premiered on PBS Oct. 14, 2020.
