I recently finished this piece in response to watching two very close friends lose loved ones within a short period of time - one a mother and another a very young wife. It's interesting to me that before I knew of either situation this material already had me thinking about death and what lies beyond. I won't call it premonition or even mere coincidence - but I can say with certainty that I am truly thankful to have completed this piece. I dedicate "The Other Side" to those two very dear friends.

This piece has since served as the sonic backdrop for Italian fashion designer Peter Langner as he unveiled his 2017 collection in Milan, Italy this 2016.

I am grateful to LA-based Pentatonix Producer/Arranger Ben Bram, Glee vocalist + contractor Tim Davis, and Jazz Artist Aubrey Logan for lending me their vocal talents on this piece. All three are so much more than the mere credit I've assigned to them. Also, LA studios, Westlake and Audio By The Bay were wonderful places to work.
