Welcome to the Fringe TheatreFest podcast. 

Fringe TheatreFest is an annual event of small-scale theatre and performance taking place in Barnstaple, North Devon every June.

This podcast has been created to bring together a variety of people who have been involved in the festival since it first took place in Barnstaple, North Devon in 2007. 

With Fringe TheatreFest being cancelled this year, we have decided to meet virtually to discuss how our interviewees first got involved, what the festival means to them and look ahead to the future of the festival which has done so much to promote and develop the small scale theatre culture in North Devon.

Episodes will be released each day over the weekend when this year’s festival was due to take place.
