The Earth Liberation Front or ELF is an eco-terror group. According to their press office, they use economic destruction in order to prevent environmental destruction. They are believed to originate in Brighton, United Kingdom in 1992, however they have become an international organization. They also have a sister organization known as the Animal Liberation Front. Some were members of the Earth First organization. What differs Earth First and ELF is Elf does the night work. In other words they do violent protest while Earth First is peaceful.
