Maslow's highest level of hierarchy is self-awareness. In a world that has placed what is "normal" inside of a box; judgment has become everyone's field of expertise whenever anyone chooses against what's agreed upon as normal. We all are the authors of the story of our lives and when it's over the question stands: Did I throw all of those stones or did I build a solid foundation made of stones cast at me for generations to come.
