Hi everyone, my names Jonathan Barbour and welcome to my podcast Gamer Cinema. A show all about taking your favorite video games and turning them into awesome movies.

I’m of the opinion that Hollywood and big movie corporations tend to not understand video games very well, and as a result, the movies they make based off these games tend to be pretty terrible. Anyone remember the 1993 super Mario bros movie?

I wanted to challenge this idea and show people that games can be incredible experiences both to play and to watch, so I recruited the nerdiest guys and gals I could find, and each week we have about an hour to try and turn your favorite childhood games into equally awesome films.
