Get Booked is a book recommendation show, where the hosts each propose a book to answer a listener's request. My only qualms about this show is that they always seem to be recommending books with female protagonists, or LGBTQ2+ protagonists, while perhaps ignoring cis male protagonist stories. Of course the promotion of reading diversity should be encouraged, but when a listener writes in wanting a comp for their dad or husbands for Game of Thrones, or The Bourne Identity, I think the men might balk at what is suggested...and this is coming from a woman who reads almost exclusively female writers or protagonists!
