Season 2, Episode 2
We begin Season 2 by welcoming Molly Fowler on the Girls Into VC podcast! Molly is the founding general partner of the newly independent Dorm Room Fund, the nation's original student venture fund. She is proud to work alongside the DRF team of student investors at the best entrepreneurship campuses in the country. Together, they back the strongest student founders at their earliest stages. Since its founding, DRF has helped 400+ undergrad, MBA, masters’ and PhD founders grow their companies and raise billions of follow-on capital from some of the biggest names in venture.
We loved hearing Molly share her story of how she broke into venture capital after pivoting from her career in politics, and it is clear that she is very passionate about DRF’s mission, work, and people. She also shares some valuable lessons she learned on her career path and advice for students looking to break into venture capital or join DRF.
Thank you for listening to this week’s episode, and be sure to tune into our next episode highlighting a new guest in the field!
