The COVID-19 crisis has left national economies and businesses reconsidering strategies and growth plans, as governments struggle with reopening economies. A steep drop in economic output, the pandemic has exposed risks inherent to how companies approach profit and growth. Profitability is, of course, critical to a company's existence, but growth is crucial to long-term survival.

I had the honor of interviewing Louis J. Sapi, CPA., CA., MBA., CEO at HS + Partners, a CPA firm and Hockley Miller Ltd, helping leaders to achieve business success. He is also an author of Mothers and Fathers: Health and Financial Advice to Share with Your Parents.

Louis shared insights on how many business leaders lose focus on real business objectives and struggle to grow their profitability and revenue. We also discussed state of small and medium businesses in Canadian market.
