Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw, born in Mississauga, Canada, has been teaching and supporting facilitators in Transformative Mindfulness methods since 1991, now in five languages and in 13 countries. She is an associate professor at the University of Florence for their masters program in Mindfulness and Meditation: Neurological and Clinical Application for Healthcare Professionals  and faculty of the University of Toronto, Social Work Department teaching  post-graduates these methods as well as Mindful Leadership in 2013. She is co-author of 16 Guidelines for Life and an international trainer of 16 Guidelines workshops. She has been a board member of the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom in UK  for the past six years. A former nun at Chenrezig Institute for seven years, she is a student of the Dalai Lama and is also the former director of Lama Yeshe Ling Tibetan Buddhist Group and The Centre for Compassion & Wisdom in Canada where she teaches weekly meditation courses.Ancient Asian medical systems suggest that at the heart of any illness, problems or anything that causes us suffering is an underlying seed in our minds that has influenced it. For 20 years, Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw, from Burlington, Ontario has been internationally teaching people simple ways to gently access this and transform it, resulting is big shifts emotionally and physically.
