We drink, we cuss, we discuss film but mostly we repeat, "This is not a Goonies podcast."...at least that was the initial idea. With COVID-19 sending everyone into quarantine we decided to publish a season under the same moniker but with a slightly different format. We're calling it, "Season Zero" We realize that antisocial distancing isn't the best example to set but we've limited production meetings to digital and set a monthly meet instead of weekly. We invite you to join us once a month, for an hour or so, as we aim to better understand what can be done in order to slow the progression of this latest virus. In this season we'll be discussing films we believe best parallel that progression without inducing too much panic. because...well, we would've been doing it any way. Some of the films we'll be discussing are alarmingly close in accurately depicting scenarios that seem so familiar you'd swear they were prophecy! The CDC and WHO are cited regularly to keep accurate updates. We are in no way experts on most of the topics we discuss, except when noted😉, we only aim to share our understanding of the way things appear to us and learn about that which we've yet to understand. Episode themes will run the gamut of that which has come to pass and that which may. All of the opinions expressed during any given episode are that of the individual except where agreed upon by the group as a whole.
