In this episode we have the pleasure of interviewing Sterling Peloso on the show, and Sterling is the CEO of Broco Rankin.

Sterling is the President and CEO of Broco Rankin, which he just acquired almost a year ago.  Broco Rankin is a welding supply and equipment manufacturing company with a focus on underwater industrial tactical and protective metal alloys.

Prior to acquiring Broco Rankin, Sterling has had a long an successful career as an executive leader in a number of high profile companies, such as President of Patient Monitoring and Ultrasound at Avante Health Solutions, President & CEO of Ultra Solutions, VP at Aramark Corporation, CEO at Galls Corp.

  • 1 on 1 Meetings with critical people, learn about them. It holds them accountable by myself as well.

  • Clear Vision, Mission and Core Values. Gives the team the true north.

  • Walk through the back door and go through every single department, and say good morning to everybody

  • KPIs- Measure the KPIs for operations, revenue gen, finance, sales/marketing - just don’t make them too cumbersome. No unnecessary reporting.

  • Focus on becoming a sales organization

  • When times are good, that’s when you have to put your energy into driving the company.
