Welcome to How To: Manage Your Mind

Episode 03 - How To: Change Your Mind, with Nicola Scott

Nicola Scott is a Transformational Life Coach. She has been in the personal development space for over a decade, having always been obsessed with human growth and potential. Her current mission is to support people to create sustain and impactful change in their lives to achieve more fulfilment, joy and happiness. Having reflected on her own education, experience and embodiment of everything she has learned she created The Refreshing Change philosophy to cut through some of the ‘toxic’ narratives in the personal development space. In this episode, John and Nicola explore how to manage the mind throughout the transformational change journey, how to unlock the power in knowing yourself and what you deeply desire in order to cultivate an environment that will enable you to flourish and thrive in life.

Hi, I’m John, and we have something in common: a mind…

Six years ago I unexpectedly hit a major mental brick wall. I had no idea what it was or how to deal with it. Ever since I’ve been on a journey to learn all about the mind and how to manage it.

Through therapy, talking circles, deep (deep) conversation, mindfulness meditation, spirituality, personal research and much more besides, I’m fascinated with how people maintain their mental wellbeing.

Join me as I explore what it is we can do in the minutes, hours, days, months and years that make up our extraordinary lives to stay motivated, engaged and at peace with the world we live in.

John is a father, husband, co-founder of the mental wellbeing collective The Men Who:, ambassador for the Joshua Nolan Foundation and constant source of curiosity.
