First came the low information voter, next was the no information voter and now we have the dis-information voter. Where does this lead us in terms of crisis response? Why should we be concerned? As the world gets more complicated and intertwined every day, people are raging over a 140 character tweet. Fake news and conspiracy theories take off virally and it is difficult to being people back to reality.

Now it is even more important to prepare your organization for crisis response. Because you don’t know who will react in which way across your staff. We are in a post truth world, facts are fungible and are readily molded to one’s core beliefs. Who will they believe? Will they carry out directives in the best interest of the organization if it runs counter to their own internal compass? Do they see they world through the eyes of the conspiracy theorist, or through the lens of always seeking an enemy?
