Completely charming! Two really likable creatives come together to be vulnerable and so many other things. Great times.

Jules and James have a phone meet cute and have conversations every week thereafter. Reminiscent of the honest, heartfelt dialogues in the Before Sunrise series.

This series was so well written, with believable characters and dialogue. The conversations and relationship developed very naturally. Would for sure be an all time favorite if not for cutting off so abruptly. After six years dormant (as of this review) I doubt we'll see a resolution.

Two artists who have no preconceived notions with each other connect and share their aspirations as they develop a friendship. Both actors are pretty good, especially Jules' actress. The sound design is minimal, with Jules' voice sounding like it's on the other end of the phone and James' more clear. The flow in dialogue feels natural, including the pauses in conversation. Unfortunately, it looks like the story was abandoned before reaching a conclusion to the romantic arc.

I really hope that they do more of these. Two strangers talk on the phone, share their lives and..... It's more intimate because it's like eavesdropping on phone calls, and it's more intimate for the characters because they start off as strangers with no preconceived ideas about each other. I loved it.
