The Heretics Bane slowly orbits Footfall while Lord Captain Hallerman plans the downfall of the black market dealer Othio.

Having decided to negotiate with the Adeptus Mechanicus regarding the artifact, Hallerman wants to tie up loose ends in Footfall. He reveals his plan to his seneschal Oros Claxon. Hallerman tells Oros to plant false information about Othio hoping that it will cause Rogue Trader Zarkov to move against him and in the confusion, for Oros to secure Othio’s business venture and install himself. Things go surprising well and the Heretics Bane makes the jump to Port Wanderer.

The jump through the warp is surprisingly uneventful. They dock near the Adeptus Mechanicus’s side of the station and make their way to their offices. Venari brings along Chad, the ships head tech priest. When handing the artifact over to Chad, Jarnan and Kayne notice it has no effect on him.

Venari begins negotiations with Explorator Tallentrax.
