Voice acting: B+ Writing: B- Production: B+ Creative use of sound: B- Tig Torres, our Latina hero is back home and is out to prove her Aunt was not the lethal lit killer. The best way a high school student can solve a mystery is to do a podcast about it. Yes, it's a familiar trope but it has it's charms. The mystery has been sufficiently complex that I haven't figured out who done it. I also enjoyed spending time with these teenagers. It includes how complicated it is to figure out who you like when a girl and/or boy could be crushing on you. I am a long way from being a teenager, but it seems realistic to me. However, I wish they spent more time on getting to know each of the teenagers. The only hints we get that our lead is latina is that she has an abuela and someone mentions her ethnicity. Other than that, as far as I could tell from Torres' behavior, speech pattern and environment, she could be Nancy Drew. I have mixed feelings about this. I desire her to be different, have her behavior be more influenced by her ethnicity. However, as I look at Ted Cruz, maybe she is showing her Latina heritage in her tenacity. It's an light enjoyable podcast that you can listen to while cleaning the house or walking the dog. Overall, it's similiar in quality to Project Stellar and Victoriocity.
