Excellent podcast, not a fan of the comedy songs, but they don't take away anything from the podcast itself. Production, narration, transcription, bonus content, everything is there and all are top notch.

The level of detail is staggering, I love this podcast.

Doug Metzger's work here is exceptional; not only does he offer an accessible scholarship in topics essential to our Western cultural foundation, he does it with confidence and humor, a passion he clearly feels. The support materials offered for the podcast are way beyond what most podcasts provide. And I'll go ahead and offer an additional thumbs up to the comedic original songs which follow most episodes!
